Sudanese-Scottish artist Eliza Shaddad is back with an anthem for anyone struggling right now. Her powerful new single Heaven is out on 20th April 2021 via Rosemundy Records/Wow and Flutter. This is the lead single taken from Eliza’s upcoming album The Woman You Want, due for release 16th July 2021.
Heaven is a call to hope and a plea to keep going. Written whilst Eliza was visiting family in hospital and then later in lockdown, the single and the video are a poignant reminder that life can get better and it's worth holding on to. REM influenced chiming guitars and Alanis Morrisette inspired harmonica set the backdrop for Eliza’s searing, compassionate vocal in this jangling folk-rock anthem of hope at a time when we all need it
