Tickets will go on general sale Friday 12 April at 9am through Ticketmaster.co.uk; in person at the Parc & Dare Theatre, Treorchy, or The Coliseum Theatre, Aberdare; or by calling 0844 844 0444. Ocean Colour Scene’s story is already the stuff of legend: a rip-roaring rock’n’folk odyssey set to a backdrop of over 20 years of UK pop culture at its very best.

Ocean Colour Scene have notched up nine albums, three of which went Top 5 – 1996’s Moseley Shoals, 1997’s Marchin’ Already and 1999’s One From The Modern – and a run of nine successive Top 20 hit singles commencing with 1996’s The Riverboat Song. They supported Oasis at their massive Knebworth shows that same year, and two years later helmed the biggest arena tour of any UK band to date. Their achievements have been nothing short of phenomenal. It will be the Birmingham band’s first South Wales show in 3 years, since their sell out show at Caerphilly Castle in 2016.

The Bluetones, fronted by the enigmatic Mark Morriss, had an impressive run of hit singles that included the Bluetonic, Slight Return, Marblehead Johnson, Solomon Bites The Worm, If and Keep the Fires Burning. The line up completed by Adam Devlin (guitar), Scott Morriss (bass), and Eds Chesters (drums). The band scored thirteen Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the UK charts. After playing more than 10,000 shows in more than 73 countries, they're now coming to Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in Pontypridd!

GLC are Britain’s biggest rap group with hit songs that contain words like “guns and “nutter” that actually made to top 40. They have played gigs all over the world to over six million people and two kings and four football teams. Known for indulging in herbal remedies, cheap gold and second and tracksuits the GLC are one of Wales’ finest exports next to Caerphilly cheese and love spoons. There ain’t no party like a GLC party.

Since hatching in Cardiff in 2017, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard have built a strong live following with a series of sold-out shows in the capital, a slot at Green Man Festival and their single Double Denim Hop getting airtime on UK National Radio and cult-football show Soccer AM. The Pitchforks are rising indie-rock 4 piece from the Rhondda who are currently on the BBC Horizons project and sold out their recent upstairs headline show at Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff.

Al Moses are a quartet from Merthyr bringing some of those 90s inspired musicality’s mulched in with catchy indie riffs. Also on the bill are RCT’s very own Young Garbo who Alan McGee hailed their debut single Young Faustus as, “Monumental, they're about to make the Welsh valleys hipster central" before releasing it on his brand new record label Creation 23.
