Noughties British pop giants S Club and Liberty X complete the line up at the inaugural Feels Like Summer event at Sophia Gardens Front Lawn, Cardiff on July 20.

The brand new event which promises to be one of the best parties of the summer, had previously confirmed Bananarama, Wales’ very own Bonnie Tyler, a workout with Mr Motivator, a Retro Roller Disco and a host of street food and drink at our launch announcement.

S Club are currently Jo O'Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett from the original 7 who were British pop royalty in the early 2000’s. The group first rose to prominence with their children’s TV series Miami 7 and later LA 7 which was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic. They released 13 singles in total, all of which peaked within the top 5, including four #1’s Bring it all Back, Don’t Stop Movin’, Have you ever and Never had a Dream Come True. They released 4 studio albums, of which two went 2x platinum and their sophomore album 7 achieving 4x platinum status in the UK.

Liberty X are best remembered for their 2002 single Just a Little which went straight to #1 in the singles charts, thanks in part to those now iconic PVC catsuits. The group which is now made up of  Michelle Heaton, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young rose to fame through one of the original reality TV shows Popstars; they would also achieve further success with 7 top 10 singles which included Thinking it Over, Holding on for You, and Got to Have Your Love.

The retro event is located on the Front Lawn Sophia Gardens, which is right next to the home of Welsh cricket Glamorgan County Cricket Club
