RedFaces are back with some fuzzed out indie rock n roll

29/11/2018 by Orchard Live

They are one of NME’s essential picks of 2018, Sheffield’s RedFaces are coming back to Cardiff with us in on Sunday the 3rd of February 2019 stopping off at Tiny Rebel. After a year that has seen them storm festivals up and down the country including Tramlines, Sound City and Sŵn Festival and they are hot off a tour with fellow Yorkshire band Reverend & The Makers. They’ve also been critically hailed by the likes of Gigslutz calling their songs, “built to stand out on large festival stages” and Wales’ very own Huw Stephens calling them “another brilliant band from Sheffield.”

Expect to hear fuzzed out psychedelia matched to crunching rock riffs with faint traces of Britpop which makes for extremely addictive listening. If you’re a fan of The Courteeners, Blossoms or Arctic Monkeys – then RedFaces are certainly worth checking out.

Praise for RedFaces recent releases has been widespread and ever growing. Take It Or Leave It was chosen as BBC Radio 1’s ‘Introducing Track Of The Week’ and MTV marked them out as a ‘One To Watch’ with previous singles receiving support from Radio X’s, MTV Rocks, The Box and Spotify.
