11/03/2019 by Orchard Live

We can reveal that Scottish indie-pop star Nina Nesbitt will be special guest to Jess Glynne this summer at both Stadiwm Zip World, Colwyn Bay on Sunday 7 July and Singleton Park, Swansea on Sunday the 28 July. Also announced to support at Colwyn Bay only is Wales’ very own Dusky Grey. Tickets are on sale and available from Ticketmaster.co.uk.

Starting out as an independent artist, her smart, straight-talking lyrics and catchy pop hooks earned Nina Nesbitt a top 20 album when she broke through into the public consciousness in 2013 with Peroxide after catching the attention of Island Records. She then focused on writing for acts such as Jessie Ware, The Shires, Sigala, Jonas Blue and more.

Nina’s comeback album The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change has been a total transformation in sound and image, marking the arrival of an artist that has truly found herself. An independent artist once more, Nina has made an album that blends pop and RnB into a magnetic sound, which has seen her amass over 100million streams and gain playlist status on BBC Radio 1 and 2. Nina has been heavily supported by Spotify and Apple who have given her major billboards in New York's Times Square, LA and London.

Also supporting are Dusky Grey an electronic pop male/female duo from Bangor and Caernarfon who have racked up over 24million streams alone - impressive for a group who were only formed in 2017. The duo, comprising of Gethin Williams and Catty Hopkins, sold out Theatr Colwyn in 2018, and have received support from BBC Introducing Wales, Merseyside, London and Radio 1 already in their short time together.

Jess Glynne has also been busy since the Singleton Park announcement, producing an empowering performance at the 2019 BRIT Awards that was universally loved and re-released Thursday with H.E.R
